"Oh Lord God, deliver us in Thy due time from the little narrow prison, almost as it were, total darkness of paper, pen and ink and a crooked, broken, scattered and imperfect language."

-Joseph Smith

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"

- Martin Luther King Jr.

The Gods we worship write their names on our faces, be sure of that. And a person will worship something, have no doubt of that either. One may think that tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore it behooves us to be careful what we are worshiping. For what we are worshiping, we are
becoming.

Abducted by Aliens or Marked by God?

So, a week or two ago we noticed this hexagonal mark on our daughter's finger. I asked her, "How did you get that mark? Did you burn your finger on something, or touch something hot?" She said she hadn't. I kept asking and was very persistent because I wanted to make sure that what ever she burned her finger on was not still a threat. I thought of the fire pit at our family reunion but it had no hexagonal shapes anywhere to be found. I looked high and low through our house at curling irons, stove tops, and toasters but to no avail. And she insists that she did not burn her finger on anything. I know that the hexagon is a shape found in nature and in the body so I decided to see what I could learn online, to see if this mark could be something that could occur naturally on a person's skin. No luck. I did find one Muslim scholar who had created a power point that illustrated the parts of the body (microscopically) in which the hexagon appears and other area's of nature where this pattern appears, like honeycomb for example. The opinion of this Muslim Scholar was that the hexagon was the mark of God. Or... it could always be those dad gum aliens.
