"Oh Lord God, deliver us in Thy due time from the little narrow prison, almost as it were, total darkness of paper, pen and ink and a crooked, broken, scattered and imperfect language."

-Joseph Smith

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"

- Martin Luther King Jr.

The Gods we worship write their names on our faces, be sure of that. And a person will worship something, have no doubt of that either. One may think that tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore it behooves us to be careful what we are worshiping. For what we are worshiping, we are
becoming.

Cruise On!

O.k. folks, since it's booked and therefore pretty much official we figured it's time to tell you about our exciting upcoming adventure. We have our great friends/neighbors to thank for this because if it weren't for their prodding with a red hot poker we probably wouldn't have ever gotten around to doing something like this. As you may have guessed from the picture we're going on a cruise!
We planned it for next year so that we'll have all the expenses saved. In addition we booked early and therefore got really great rates. With five small kids to wrestle with every day we are excited for the break. We will be going to Costa Maya Mexico,

Grand Cayman Island,

and Ocho Rios Jamaica.

We'll be cruising along with our good friends (the afore mentioned neighbors) and eating, drinking, and being merry to our hearts content. James will hate that I put it into those words so just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, we will NOT be wearing spaghetti strap dresses to dinner, drinking alcoholic beverages, or playing the slots. We WILL hopefully be visiting Mayan ruins, swimming with stingrays, basking on white sand beaches lined with tropical vegetation, and sleeping in as long as we please. We will be going in February, over Valentines day. Ta ta.
