I snagged this little comment from a friend of a friends blog. My friend Linnea has a good friend named Jeanel who just found out a while ago that she has Inflammatory Breast Cancer. For those of you who don't know about this disease, hop on the internet and make yourselves aware. It is said to be very rare, but I've sure been hearing of it a lot lately. The signs and symptoms are different, no lumps are found, and usually by the time it's detected it is too late. But as Linnea said, we do believe in miracles. Anyway, I don't know what the outcome will be, but one thing is for sure, miracles happen, even if they are of a different sort than we expect. What an amazing thing to say from a woman who is learning what it's all really about. We should listen.
"My learning moment this week was when I realized there are only 2 ways of living life- God's way and not God's way. There is no in between. That realization has helped me more fully put everything in the Lord's hands as I fight this fight." -Jeanel
"Oh Lord God, deliver us in Thy due time from the little narrow prison, almost as it were, total darkness of paper, pen and ink and a crooked, broken, scattered and imperfect language."
-Joseph Smith
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
- Martin Luther King Jr.
The Gods we worship write their names on our faces, be sure of that. And a person will worship something, have no doubt of that either. One may think that tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore it behooves us to be careful what we are worshiping. For what we are worshiping, we are becoming.

Shelby, Thanks so much for spreading the word more. Everyone needs to know about IBC. Jeanel is really an amazing person and watching her go through this has really strengthened my testimony. There really is only 2 ways you can live... I think about that more and more everyday.
The world sure seems to be changing all the time. I often wonder if it is changing because I am older and getting more aware or if it is really the counting down of the latter days. I always fing comfort in "If ye are prepared ye shall not fear."
I hope you don't mind me snooping! I had to comment on this because my aunt has IBC and when they found it it was stage four. She has done AMAZINGLY and was cancer free for about 6 months but they just recently found some more in her liver. We truly know that miracles happen everyday. But our attitude must be "But if not..." It is true that if we are prepared we need not fear.
