"Oh Lord God, deliver us in Thy due time from the little narrow prison, almost as it were, total darkness of paper, pen and ink and a crooked, broken, scattered and imperfect language."
-Joseph Smith
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
- Martin Luther King Jr.
The Gods we worship write their names on our faces, be sure of that. And a person will worship something, have no doubt of that either. One may think that tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore it behooves us to be careful what we are worshiping. For what we are worshiping, we are becoming.

Eliza
I have a funny little child. Her name is Eliza. Eliza is funny in lots of cute little ways but one of the things that I love the most is her funny way of saying things. Today she came in from playing in the snow and took off her coat to hang it up. She then came up to me a bit frustrated and said, "Mom, a junk of snow just creeped out of my coat and it's on the floor!" I looked down and sure enough, a junk (not to be confused with chunk) of snow had creeped right out of Eliza's coat and fallen on the floor. Rock-on Eliza.

I promise I do this childs hair sometimes.
Sorry I had a brain fart there for a second and thought Eliza was Madison!!! They definitely look like sisters.;) In some ways it is nice because we haven't seen you for a long time, but I can imagine what Maddy looked like as a little girl instead of the big girl she is just by looking at Eliza. Your kids are all too cute!
Shelbs she is cute as can be. I love all of the kid-speak that comes with parenting. One of my favorites is from Henry..."mom, what is that movie Crotchy Tiger Hidden Dragon about?" Love love love kids
I hope this means that you are going to do this with each of your children. I love it. Of course I love them too :) Eliza is such a doll! Love, Grandma A.
